Getting Her Man is a fun and sexy romp that takes you on a steamy adventure in New Orleans, Louisiana. Diana Belmaine, private investigator specializing in stolen antiquities, takes a case to find a stolen Egyptian artifact and, in turn, finds a man that can easily steal her heart - Jack Austin. Jack is a professor of archeology and a renowned Mayan expert, but he’s not your stereotypical college teacher — he’s adventurous, sexy as hell, and a renegade. But while Jack may be on all of America’s “ten-best” lists, Diana has elevated him to number one on her list—of suspects! Diana may be attracted to the arrogant and sexy professor, but she prides herself on getting her man. But if Jack is the thief, will she be strong enough to let him go?

Getting Her Man is a wonderful story filled with great characters and a fast paced storyline that makes you turn page after page, long into the night. Diana is sassy, smart and strong, a character that women can easily relate to and believe to be real. Jack is arrogant and mischievous, and he will definitely steal into your heart. Secondary characters are well developed, as were the back stories of the main characters. The climactic ending felt a bit contrived and a touch unbelievable, and to me, it fizzed out. However, I thoroughly enjoyed Getting Her Man, a keeper for me, and I definitely recommend it!
