London - 1793
Sarah Leaford is in need of help in getting her father out of the hellish dungeons of Paris. The only person who can help her is Gentleman Jack, he is known as the greatest thief of merry old London. But she may want to rethink this decision, as Gentleman Jack has a score to settle with Sarah’s father.
Gentleman Jack at firsts says no to Sarah, he is not allowed to leave the country. He knows if the Master learns of his leaving, that will be the end of Jack. But then he decides to take the chance. He has a bone to pick with her father; after all it was Sarah’s father who had put him in the gallows in the first place. He escaped his fate and since that day, he has been waiting for an opportunity to get his revenge.
Sarah and Jack both want Sarah’s father back, but for very different reasons. For Jack, it will be an end to a long time of waiting for revenge, for Sarah it has been a long time in worrying about him. They both have hard decisions to make in the course of their rescue, some of which will be hard choices and hopefully the right ones.
