I enjoyed the second story of the Taylor trilogy as much as the first. Janelle Taylor has once again kept me turning pages until the very end. Haunting Olivia is not only a story that will return Olivia Sedgwick to Blueberry, Maine but also let Olivia find her first true love and something so important, something she thought she lost thirteen years ago.
Olivia is the second to open a letter from her father and she is too inherit a home in her hometown of Blueberry, Maine. A town she left and said she would never return to again. The place she left her stillborn baby thirteen years ago. One she never had the chance to look at for she was so upset and just wanted to get out of there.
Unknown to Olivia her first love now lives in Blueberry and he has a thirteen year old daughter. As far as Zachary Archer was concerned Olivia wanted nothing to do with Kayla. She gave her up! But that will be a shock to both parents when one finds the truth out from the other. Will there be forgiveness from each character and will they be able to repair the love that they still feel for each other?
Kayla plans to run in the Miss Blueberry yearly contest. One problem though, someone is sending threatening notes. Not only that but the cottage that Olivia stands a chance to inherit has been trashed. How will this affect the Miss Blueberry contest and Kayla's chance to win? Will Olivia and Zachary be able to protect their daughter? Will Olivia be able to comply with what her father wants in order for her to receive her inheritance? Will Kayla's one dream come true?
This is a funny romance and mystery all in one. I look forward to reading the third book in the trilogy. Haunting Olivia is a keeper for me.
