After finding several stories I liked in the Secrets series of anthologies, I looked forward to Volume 7. I am pleased to say I was not disappointed. Without exception, all these stories are fun, hot, and exceptionally well-written.

Julia Welles kicks off this anthology with her story Ameliaís Innocence. Poor Amelia is the prize in a card game when her father bets her virginity and loses. The lucky winner? Gorgeously sensual Captain Quentin Hawke, who plans a few interesting games of his own with the charmingly innocent Amelia. Is she still innocent at the end of the story? Read it and find out, but donít be surprised if these two sweep you away Ė theyíre a very charming couple.

A tale that mixes paranormal and erotic elements comes next, The Woman of His Dreams by Jade Lawless. The mystical dreams of Joanna Morgan become concrete when she meets her neighbor, handsome artist Gray Avonaco. It turns out that he has dreams too. Reincarnation, anyone? Another lustfully erotic romance, very well told, with a lovely plot driving the lovers.

Surrender by Kathryn Ann Dubois presents Lady Johanna, free spirited and feisty, who fights tooth and nail against any form of domination. Enter her betrothed, the dark and powerful Duke of Chandlemare. A man who knows what he wants, and he wants Johanna. And my goodness, we want him too. He definitely falls into the "yummy" category of heroes. Luckily Johanna has met her match and the fireworks that ensue are explosive.

Wrapping up this great anthology is Kissing the Hunter by Angela Knight, which continues her stories of vampires and their struggle to exist in the modern day world. This time, itís lonely vampire Virginia Hart. What Virginia doesnít know is that US Navy SEAL Logan McLean is hunting her down to kill her; what Logan doesnít know is that Virginia holds the key to his heart and his eternal soul. Itís fascinating, sexy and another wonderful story from Ms. Knight, who stole my heart with her vampire tale in an earlier volume of Secrets.

This is a fun book; all four tales are relatively short and youíll find you can enjoy one without having to spend all day reading it. For a sexy, sensual and passionate anthology, you canít do much better than this one.
