Edge of Fear by Cherry Adair is the second book in a trilogy featuring three brothers who are operatives in the classified paranormal unit of T-FLAC, the counter-terrorism group. Each brother has a unique gift to bring to T-FLAC …… and a family curse!

Caleb Edge, another wizard with extraordinary talents, is recovering from an injury and getting cranky. He wants to get back to work but his knee is holding him back! He’s given an assignment close to home – track down international banker Brian Shaw’s daughter, get to know her and try to discover his whereabouts. He disappeared a year ago after his wife was murdered and it was discovered that $48,000,000,000 (yep, billion) had been diverted from his client’s accounts. Which clients? International terrorists and some of the nastiest, most sadistic in the world!

Hannah Smith aka Heather Shaw is a lady on the run. She’s settled in San Francisco for the moment and doing quite well, even if she is lonely. Her loneliness may explain her totally uncharacteristic behavior when she meets the delectable Caleb Edge, but Caleb is different than anyone of her acquaintance. They share a scorching night together before Hannah leaves Caleb’s bed and walks out of his life.

Caleb must leave for Italy before he can contact Hannah again but he can’t seem to get her out of his mind….and his heart, while Hannah has a secret of her own! However, can Hannah forgive Caleb for the events that unfold?

This is an awesome follow-up to Edge of Danger. It’s the kind of keeps-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat read that Ms. Adair is famous for and she certainly delivers! I just have one question – is Ms. Adair going to treat us to stories for some of the other wizards we encounter in her trilogy, pretty please???
