Too Great A Temptation is perfectly named. Read on to find out why.

Damian Westmore, better known as the "Duke of Rogues," lives for pleasure, until the day his brother dies at the hands of pirates. Abandoning the libertine life to pursue revenge, Damian finds the criminals he seeks, and joins their crew in disguise, waiting for the chance to strike the brigands down. But he never imagined there would be a woman onboard or that the stunning beauty would inflame the very passions Damian swore to resist until his brother's death was avenged.

Mirabelle Hawkins longs for the freedom of the high seas, so she stows away on her brother's pirate ship at the first opportunity. But she finds something more exciting than chase and plunder: a bold, handsome, secretive sailor whose touch makes her tremble with desire but whose love is a cutlass that could destroy all she holds dear and could destroy all that she has worked to hard to achieve; becoming a pirate and joining her brother's pirate crew.

What starts out as a need for revenge turns into a sizzling love story that will take your breath away. Mirabelle wants nothing more that to prove to her brother's that she can be as good a pirate as they are. But when she catches the eye of Damien, all of that is thrown into the wind and she has all that she can do to keep her heart in check and concentrate on her mission.

These are two very charasmatic characters and they are perfect for each other. Sparks fly right from the beginning and get hotter and hotter as the pages turn. Ms. Benedict writes a fast paced page turner that will keep you glued to the pages. Excellant secondary characters make for a fun crew and a surprise ending will keep you hanging by a thread until the next book comes out.

A fesh, new voice in today's romance genre, Alexandra Benedict is a joy to read again and again.
