Rosie Kilgannon was going to be busy at her friend’s wedding thwarting all the matchmaking schemes thrown her way. She was in no hurry to make that walk down the matrimonial aisle. But she did have every intention of stopping this wedding. The bride-to-be needed help whether she realized it or not. Fortunately, it was Rosie to the rescue.
Doug Llewellyn was a confirmed bachelor who had the world by the tail. Successful, handsome, fun, and extremely well-favored by the ladies, he should be satisfied with his life. He thought he was until one morning he woke feeling an empty void. Without warning the confirmed bachelor found himself longing to settle down. That didn’t mean, however, that he was looking forward to his cousin’s week-long wedding celebration. He needed time to adjust to the changes. That wouldn’t be an easy task considering he would be doing his best to avoid matchmaking attempts.
Rosie found a partner in crime in Doug. They stuck together, each one helping the other to deflect unwanted matchmaking. It was supposed to be a fun distraction. It turned out to be a match made in heaven - with a bit of fire.
Everything’s Coming Up Rosie has Kasey Michaels’ trademark wit and spark that brings her readers back time and time again. Clever characters confronting funny circumstances make for a good read. Admittedly, Rosie’s mouth annoyed me a few times, but not enough to ruin the reading experience.
