Maggie Wright has spent her life in her familys shadow; told she doesnt measure up so often that shes begun to believe it. After her latest break up Maggie starts a quasi-affair with local sheriff, Shane Chase. The Chase brothers are the most sought after men in town, not to mention the sexiest. But heartache from the past causes Shane to treat Maggie wrong, and end up losing her. Kyle Chase jumps at the chance to help Maggie get over Shane, and hes not willing to let her get away.
Unfortunately things take a turn for the bad, when a mad man develops an obsession with Maggie and starts stalking her. As the relationship between Kyle and Maggie grows, so does the stalkers fixation. With the whole Chase family on the trail, Kyle is determined to see the stalker put away and relieve the stress of the situation for Maggie.
Giving Chase was a wild, wonderful ride that kept me on the edge of my seat, hyped with anticipation. Not just anticipating what would happen next with the stalker, but what would happen next in Maggies relationships with not only Kyle, but her family as well. The story is true to life and really hit me on an emotional level, watching as the fallout from the stalker affected everyone. The relationship between Kyle and Maggie flowed naturally as they both learned more about each other and Kyle got Maggie to accept that she did deserve him. Maggies mother and sister really annoyed me, in that they reminded me of people in real life, and I was so glad to see Maggie finally stand up to them. The Chase men are all true sexy bad boys with hearts of gold and I fell in love with each and every one of them. I wouldnt mind more of these brothers.
