Marcus Reece, Duke of Exeter, has spent most of his life bailing his twin brother out of some kind of trouble or another. Without ever hearing a 'thank you' or and 'I promise to try and do better', his resentful sibling decided to have the ultimate revenge on him; he forges his name to a marriage license and presents him with an unwanted bride and a whole pack of trouble. She's a vicar's widow with a four year old daughter and a mind of her own. She may also be the first person in Marcus's well-ordered life to make him feel completely out of control.

Hannah Preston can't help but berate herself over her own idiocy. Dire straights have led her to the altar with a gentleman she hardly knows. Played for a fool, she's embarrassed, furious and now married to an outraged stranger. She must find a way to un-do the wrong done to her before she is completely ruined.

Reluctantly, she agrees to play the wife until Marcus can sort out the mess his brother created. But being so near to the attractive Duke and the passion that he seems to stir in her with just a look, Hannah wonders if she will ever want to leave and maybe, just maybe, she would like to be his wife in the real sense. Oh, what to do...

A wonderfully written story, Caroline Linden brings to life for her readers, characters to truely fall in love with. Forced into a marriage, Hannah and Marcus band together to find a way out of their predicament only to fall in love and want a happily-ever-after ending.

A wonderful storyline, well written characters and a passion the burns bright, Ms. Linden delivers a true keeper in What A Gentleman Wants. Don't miss it!
