Fredrika Bimm is a mermaid with a boatload of problems. First off she’s allergic to shellfish, she has major issues with seaweed and she’s not fond of the ocean. Add to that the fact that Fred has angered the fish at the New England Aquarium where she works and they are on a hunger strike. What’s a mermaid to do?

To top everything off it seems someone is polluting Boston Harbor and it’s up to Fred to get to the bottom of the mess. Luckily for her two sexy men have recently entered her life and will be available to help her figure things out.

Known for her quirky sense of humor MaryJanice Davidson launches what promises to be a smashing series with Sleeping With The Fishes. This book brought back the magic of first reading something new by this talented author. Her sense of humor and imagination know no bounds. Sleeping With The Fishes is a pure delight to read from start to finish.

The many secondary characters add depth to the story line and will leave the reader wondering just what will happen next with this delightful bunch. If you are feeling down following the big holiday this is just the book to lift your spirits. I can’t wait for the next installment. The only downfall is the story is it is over much too soon but this will surely have Davidson's fans demanding more of Fred and this quirky cast of characters.
