Continuing the tradition of sensual novels with vibrant characters, Jeanie London offers her newest Harlequin Blaze – One-Night Man! The man of the title is Josh Eastman, hunky private investigator, and black sheep of the filthy rich Eastman family. Our heroine, Lennon McDarby, takes one look and knows he’s Mr. Wrong.

Lennon’s definition of Mr. Right doesn’t include anybody who can make her pulse jump and her heart beat faster – passion like that will burn out and is totally out of place when it comes to selecting a permanent mate. Oh Lennon – how wrong you are!!! Lennon is the great-niece of Josh Eastman’s grandfather's mistress. Yes, it’s a bit complicated, but it soon becomes clear that Quinevere McDarby (Lennon’s great-aunt) was devoted to Joshua Eastman (Josh’s grandfather), even though theirs was a rather unconventional relationship.

Quinevere McDarby is unconventional in many other ways too – the gallery she’s opening features erotic art!! A perfect setting for Josh to pursue Lennon and discover her fantasies, dreams and how to get her where he wants her – in his bed and his life. Permanently!

This is a lovely wander through the complex maze of sex, love and relationships – the secondary characters, Quinevere especially, are integral to the story and delightfully written. The New Orleans lovin’ is steamy (watch for a great card game!!!) and Josh and Lennon complement each other in all the ways that count!

A fun read – short and sassy, and a great addition to your Blaze library!!
