Boston lawyer Veronica “Ronnie” Jinkowsky receives a call from her grandfather that he desperately needs her help. It seems his treasure hunting business is about to go bankrupt and he is about to lose everything. What’s a granddaughter to do but come to the rescue?

When Ronnie arrives in New Jersey she has her doubts as to just how destitute her grandfather really is especially when her poker playing four times ex, Jake Jensen arrives on the scene as well. Is her grandfather, Frank really in trouble or is he trying to play matchmaker to these two relationship challenged young people?

Sandra Hill is the best at making her readers laugh and Pink Jinx is a prime example of Ms. Hill at her best. Many readers may have a hard time believing that the main couple has been married on four previous occasions but that was a great deal of the fun for this reader as the author revisits these nuptials and gives the reader a glimpse of what went wrong each time. It is clear that Ronnie and Jake belong together if they can just find a way to get it right.

As the dive team sets out on the high seas on the latest adventure for an elusive lost treasure of pink diamonds both Ronnie and Jake find themselves along for the ride and asking themselves exactly how they got roped into this adventure in the first place. Ms. Hill brings exciting secondary characters along for the ride to spice up the journey. For readers familiar with Ms. Hill’s previous Cajun books you will get to see the reappearance of both Tante Lulu who is as feisty and sharp tongued as ever and the ever sexy Tee-John. Also secondary character Caleb Peachey the sexy Amish ex-Navy SEAL will have readers clamoring for another appearance from him.

This is the start of what promises to be another best selling series for the talented Sandra Hill. Grab your copy of Pink Jinx today and be ready to share a lot of laughs and perhaps a few tears with this delightful menagerie of treasure hunting characters. I am anxiously awaiting the next installment of Jinx Inc.
