Being a werewolf naturally makes someone lean towards the animal side of their nature. But Blaez Dolan takes animal instincts to a whole new level of dangerous. A mercenary, Blaez kills easier than most people think. He has no attachments, and people know that to cross him means they are signing their own death warrant. The only thing he cares about is himself and his ship. That is until a stowaway barges into his life at the most inappropriate time.

Rozenn Quinlan is finally free. Having run away from the Galrath Convent, a hellish place that doesnít treat its inhabitants rightfully, Rozenn has the universe at her beck and call. Stowing away on ships is her mode of transportation, but she has picked the wrong ship this time. Stowing away on the Fiach of Blaezí proves to be an adventure for her, but one that has a dark side to it. Blaez and Rozenn are now the players in a terrible game that has Blaez on the verge of losing complete control. But, things are not always what they seem, and our players are about to find out why.

I loved this story. It is hilarious, short, steamy, and it has my favorite type of character, WOLFIES!!!! (Well only one in this edition to Charlotte Boyett-Compoís wonderful futuristic universe.) I laughed more by what came out of Rozennís mouth that I have with any other book in recent memory. I have always loved Mrs. Boyett-Compoís books, but I think that this one is going to take the top seat for now. Rozenn is not the type of heroine you would expect for a badass WOLFIE; she is overweight and not very appealing in the looks department, but she has the most wonderfully sarcastic wit that I have had the pleasure to read. Tailwind definitely gets two thumbs up from me!
