Samantha Saxon brings us another strong woman who makes a bold choice as the Napoleonic War's rage on.

After her reputation is ruined by a vengeful enemy of her father's, Lady Juliet Pervill's future is very bleak. But, rather than bend under society's scorn, she decides to offer her services to the Foreign Office, putting her brilliant mind for numbers to work decrypting French codes.

Struggling with a mysterious new code, Seamus McCurren is shocked when the Foreign Office calls in another cryptographer, a woman. Not just any woman, but a beautiful, stunning female of quality! His intellectual pride takes a beating, but that's nothing compared to what awaits his poor heart. Seamus soon finds himself distracted by Lady Juliet and not only because of her mathematical theories, which he actually finds terribly sexy, but his attraction is putting them both at risk from a seductive spy master operating righ under their noses.

Samantha Saxon's Lady books have met with rave reviews and for good reason, they are very well written. Her attention to detail about the Naploeoonic Wars and what went on behind the scenes is very believable. The heroines are strong willed and the heroes are strong of will but with a softness to them that makes them irresistable. Juliet and Seamus butt heads often but the spark never dies between them and when they finally act upon their attraction to each the fireworks fly!

Another great novel by a wonderful author. Samantha Saxon is on the out romance she comes!!
