This book has attitude!!! Six short stories of contemporary angst that cover the life experiences of just about every woman struggling to make sense of the absurdities of pets, size 2s, and the male of the species!

Daisy Dexter Dobbs unerringly targets real life where hiding chocolates is a felony, punishable by lynching, dogs routinely barf over the best rug, and nobody has slender thighs! Men are unpredictable in these stories, but there is most often a Mr. Right waiting in the wings to pick up the pieces left by Mr. Wrong!

The humor is wonderful honest, touching and gentle things youd love to say yourself if you could only think of them in time! Ms. Dobbs touches on motherhood although the mom in question must have learned her parenting skills at the Stephen King school of maternal terrorism! The heroines are all identifiable real-life women and the heroes are everything we real-life women would like to snuggle up to on cold winter nights!!

These tales are for every gal who cried when she realized that her favorite size 6 jeans she last wore in high school were going to have to go! For every woman who has ever hoped Mel Gibson might knock on her door and beg her to have his babies (but knew shed probably have to ask him to wait while she finished the laundry, popped a casserole in the oven, and fed the cat), and for every woman who sometimes needs a good laugh at her everyday life!

Its a fantasy-lite, its fun, and its highly recommended. It would also make a great gift for a friend who needs a little humor in her day!!!
