When Kendra discovers a quilt Isaacís grandmother also left him, she starts to uncover the family history. At first Isaac does not really care about his past, he would just like to keep it in the past, where it belongs. He starts to spend less and less time with Kendra at the cabin. But as more is revealed his interest takes a turn. He realizes maybe by taking an interest in his past, he and Kendra can have a future together.
This is the third book in the series. However, it can be read on its own. There is a fourth book in the works. This was a great read. Not only was there family history, there was also romance, mystery, and a dose of believing the past does influence what the present and future will be.
