Ashleen Craig flies to Puerto Azul, Central America, to meet with SIA soldier Bridger Powell, hoping he’ll help her find her brother, who has gone missing. From the moment they set eyes on each other there is a very strong attraction, taking them both off guard. And though Ashleen isn’t even sure she likes the man, she finds herself in a position where she has to place her complete trust in him to keep her safe.

With gunfire all around them, Bridger rushes Ashleen out of the cantina where she’d hunted him down. He takes her to the place he’s staying in the jungle. When she insists on joining him on his trek into the jungle, he makes it known he refuses to jeopardize her life, or let her slow him down during his mission.

With a few hours to kill, and such a strong sexual attraction, the two find themselves putting their reservations aside and taking comfort in each other’s arms. She’s never slept with someone she’s known for such a short time, but she can’t resist how he brings her body to life. Bridger gets her to open up to him and uses everything she says to bring her unimaginable pleasure.

Will she agree to stay behind, safe from harm, or will her stubborn desire to find her brother put not only their new found relationship in harm’s way, but her very life itself?

This story may be very short, but it definitely packs a punch. The author masterfully combines stimulating sex scenes with compassionate, giving characters, making the story a very satisfying read.
