Still looking for that perfect summer book? Look no further, Wild & Willing is what you’ve been waiting for! Indulge yourself and find out about a ruthless and sexy pirate and an artist that knows how to turn seductress with the help of her paintbrush - painting pictures of love and passion in bold blue.

It’s Tampa’s annual Gasparilla festival and - not out of choice but out of necessity to ensure the corporate sponsor’s reputation - Seth Chandler fills in for the lead as pirate captain and abductor of innocent maidens. The obvious choice for a captive would be the safe one, a grandmotherly woman to prevent any bad press for his company. But even though he sets out with the safe option he ends up with the dangerous one....

Mia Quentin is determined to spend a weekend of adventure and pleasure while staying in Tampa. Away from her family and any responsibilities, she hopes to share that adventure with one sexy bare-chested buccaneer and throws herself in Seth’s arms. For once Mia wants to be the Bad Girl, not trying to make up for her mother’s men-mistakes but getting some loving and attention. What more is there to say than “You go girl!”

Shame that Seth turns out to be the responsible type. No-sex-without-a-serious-relationship kind of responsible! And no matter how hard Mia tempts him and comes undone in his arms, Seth is not to be swayed. So no loving it is, as relationships are not on her agenda - Mia’s grandparent’s tourist shop needs to be rescued and her career as an artist to be launched. But Seth wants more than just some very orgasmic kisses and is not afraid to do anything needed to draw her attention and to win her affection. And what do I say? “You go boy!”

Moving from the big city setting of her previous two Blazes, Ms. Rock now successfully ventures into small town quaintness. Introducing secondary characters in Mia’s mother and Seth’s uncle who in their own quest for love are just as fun and definitely just as hot as Mia and Seth!

Wild & Willing is not as daring in sexual experiments as her others, but definitely more sensual. So, not expecting the same for her next releases, I’m eager to be surprised once more. How unfair is it then that we have to wait till May 2003 to read Seth’s brother’s story in Wild & Wicked. Oh well, we just have to make do with her upcoming October 2002 and March 2003 Temptation releases.
