Miss Hannah Chilton, under the accompaniment of the Ladies Featherton, Lettia and Viola, has trained her falcon on following in the footsteps of her wonderful benefactors who are famous for their matchmaking. Hannah and her beloved bird hire out their services to bring happy couples together and to make a tidy profit with each service. But when the Featherton sisters firmly believe that matchmaking has all to do with love, not manipulation, while Hannah believes that you only have to bring two people together and then let nature take its course. And to prove her point, she secretly proves to plan a match for each of the sisters!
But when the sisters plan a match for Hannah, then all bets are off, because even though Hannah practically fell for Griffin St. Albans on sight, she can't be sure he's the same man that they met only days before. Of course, when they ran him over with their carriage and he temporarily lost his memory...well, that could have something to do with his personality change after all. But can a man change so much that he seems to be two different people?
Kathryn Caskie writes a cute Regency romp with tons of whimsy and fun characters, but the lack of depth to this story is what granted the 3 roses rating. I felt it lacked that certain something that gives a romance that edge of your seat, melting heart feel. Although I have enjoyed others of Ms. Caskie's books, this one just fell a little short for my regency romance tastes.
