Chantal Worthington wasnít your average socialite. Oh she was up until about eight months or so before. She did all the parties, dinners and charity functions. But she was bored with doing just that. Now she is Carol Worth, bounty hunter and only a few know who she really is.

Belinda is her best friend and at the moment in a world of hurt. She was raped when she was younger by Marcus Willowby. That was ten years ago. Now it seems that he has finally been brought up on charges by two ladies and there are tapes to prove it. Only problem is he skips his court appearance. Now it is up to Chantal to bring him back.

Nothing will stop Chantal from going after Marcus, not even Crazy Luke Coleman. Luke was another bounty hunter for the same bails bondman as Chantal. He knows who Carol really is and he doesnít think she has it in her to be a bounty hunter. And he tries to get the best of her whenever he can, even showing up to take over a collar or two.

Chantal will stop at nothing to catch Marcus and bring him back to justice and hopefully finally help Belinda get the help that she needs. Not even Crazy Luke will stand in her way. She plans to outsmart him but Luke has a few plans of his own and somehow he ends up with her on the chase for Marcus.

The tension between Chantal and Luke is there from the very beginning. Neither one likes the other but they are both attracted to the other and that makes for an interesting adventure. But can the two of them set aside their differences to come together and capture Marcus?

Hell on Heels is about a woman that is bored with her everyday life and out to do something she likes and enjoys. She isnít afraid of danger no matter what form it comes in, including Luke. The story has a few twists and turns along the way to keep us turning the pages to see just what Chantal and then Luke will do to bring Marcus to justice. The story is fast paced and the tension between Chantal and Luke is explosive the longer they are together.
