Some thirty years ago FBI agent Olivia St Martin lived through the horror of watching her sister be kidnapped by a stranger. The incident does not have a happy ending as Melissaís body is soon found. Olivia is able to help identify and convict a suspect for the crime and she has made it her mission to attend every parole hearing of Brian Harrison Hall. She intends to make sure he never gets out of prison to destroy another family as he had hers.

Oliviaís world comes crashing down around her when new DNA evidence proves that Hall could not have committed the crime and he is released from prison. Olivia has spent over thirty years trying to keep Hall in prison while her sisterís true killer has been free.

When Olivia begins to look at the evidence she soon discovers that there may be a serial killer on the loose. The latest case is in Seattle and Olivia leaves her lab and poses as a field agent to get close to the action.

She soon finds herself working with detective Zack Travis on the case. The two must work together to solve this one before another young life is lost. While he finds himself strongly attracted to Olivia, Zack also senses that something isnít quite right about her involvement in the case either.

The Kill brings to an end Allison Brennanís stunning FBI trilogy and the last book is just as spell binding as the first two proved to be. The author has a gift for drawing her reader into the story line and keeping them on the edge of their seat. Her characters leap off the page and the reader can easily identify with them. Although she has only penned three books, Ms Brennan writes with the skill of a much more seasoned writer. She is one of the best new romantic suspense writers to come along in a long while and I am anxiously awaiting her next release. Extraordinary stuff from a star on the rise!!!

Ms BrennanÖ..write faster!!!.
