Charlotte Maclay makes her romantic suspense debut with a bang! Her novel Make No Promises is a sensual yet exciting ride into the steamy side of Chile. It is packed with action, romance, and a juicy mystery. This novel is a winner from every aspect. Maclay’s lead characters, Taylor Travini and Rafe Maguire, are true blue heroes. The kind I love to read about! Taylor is looking for her twin brother who has come to Chile to photograph wildlife. When he goes missing Taylor swings into action and rushes to Chile to find him. She begs Rafe to help her. Rafe is a former Army Ranger who is in Chile as a mercenary training the Chilean Army. He reluctantly agrees to help her and suddenly they are dropped into a world of deceit, danger, and a real possibility of death.

I love this kind of romance! Set in an exotic locale that takes readers into the very heart of Chile, from the mountains to the jungles this book captures the imagination and the heart of the reader. Taylor and Rafe are two people thrown together by fate who grow attracted to each other and then fall into love. The attraction between these two is hot, hot, hot and evident from the first meeting. The villains in Make No Promises are so evil and corrupt that their actions will make your stomach clench and have you squirming in your seat. But isn’t that the kind of villain we all love to hate? The suspense in places is so thick that readers find themselves drawn into the novel, a mark of a truly fine author. If you love books filled with love, action, and danger then hurry to your bookstore and pick up Make No Promises. I promise you this-you’ll love it!
