The hilariously thrilling sequel to Hello, Gorgeous stars Jenny Branch, assistant hairdresser extrodinaire/receptionist to Caitlyn James. On the one day that most women would die for, or in Caitlyn’s case kill to prevent, Jenny was a bridesmaid in her friend Stacy’s wedding to the Boss. And wouldn’t you know with all that has happened in the short span of Stacy’s and Caitlyn’s relationship to the Boss, having someone try to kill Stacy during the ceremony wasn’t something that anyone thought could happen.

Neither was finding out that the shooter was actually a former undercover agent, Kevin Stone, who was “mistakenly” left out in the rain when his agency folded. Nor did anyone know just how frighteningly efficient Jenny could be, with not only a hairbrush but a gun. Now it is up to Jenny and Kevin to re-infiltrate the Snake Pit, get the intel that the boss wanted so that they can find out why someone wanted Stacy killed and then shut down the Snake Pit. Jenny always wondered how the other side lived, and now she knew, and was having the time of her life!

I have to admit that this was a laugh a minute story. I was expecting another nanobyte enhanced person to come stepping out of the woodworks to foil something, and I am happy to say that I was completely proved wrong. Jenny’s character made this story with her hilarious one liners and her complete annihilation of the dumb blonde mentality. Fast paced with a witty repartee between character, Drop Dead, Gorgeous has exceeded my expectations of a typical sequel story. Not much in steaminess, but definitely a energizing read if you are looking to laugh yourself silly.
