Werewolf Elena Michaels is having trouble adjusting to her pregnancy and she must put up with boundaries placed on her by her family due to her pregnancy. Limitations that she is finding to be very restrictive so she doesnít hesitate at the opportunity to pay back a debt by stealing a letter written by Jack the Ripper. Only things donít go according to plan and they end up opening a portal and unleashing a major threat not only to the city but to Elena as well. On the upside things seem to finally be settling down between Elena and her mate, Clay, who are both learning to adjust to their new less turbulent relationship and to trusting in each other.

Broken is the sixth installment of a wonderful series about a very rare female werewolf and her relationship with the ultimate alpha male. What I love most about Elena is that she is a smart, strong and fearless female who is learning just how vulnerable she is when she begins to second guess herself now that she must worry about the life she is now putting at risk other than just her own. Clayís alpha nature is delicious in its rawness and is both tempered and enhanced by the tenderness and love he has for his loved ones. Kelley Armstrong has created a very fun to read kick-butt heroine that readers will look forward to reading again and again. Kelley Armstrong has given readers a world beyond their imagination and filled it with interesting creatures that they will want to read more about. I greatly enjoy this series and canít wait to learn more about Elena and her family.
