I loved this book. It was funny, quirky and downright sensual. What a combination!!!

Sir Iain Armstrong and Lady Marion have been betrothed since childhood, but 12 years has passed since Marion was forced, for her own safety, to remain in a convent, to now return to her home and expect to marry Iain without so much as a by-your-leave. Never mind that she's been away from her family and hasn't seen them in so many years. Nevermind that they are a little on the 'strange side', her uncle thinks he is Willam Wallace and her aunt's finish each others sentances, every family has a relative or two who are a little different. But, when Iain insists that Marion marry him before they reach their home, Marion puts up one heck of a fight, even going so far as to insist that insanity is in her blood (anything to get out of marrying Iain) but to no avail, as she quickly falls in love with Iain, although she doesn't want him to know that...yet!

All Iain had ever done was see to Marion's best interest and now that he finally has her back, she fights tooth and nail against him. But he won't let her stop him or the threat of her 'carzy' family stop him. She was meant to be his and he will make it so, even if it kills him.

What neither of them know is that there is a plot underfoot. One that could mean terrible danger to either or both of them. Can Iain keep Marion safe? Can he keep his heart safe? Only he knows if he is up for the challenge.

With very imaginative secondary characters, a mean villian who is as crazy as everyone else and some fantastic scene imagery, Ms. Cody brings us a sure fire best seller. Adventure, romance, some really hot love scenes and some of the best characters I have read in a long while, this is one of my picks for your best Spring reading.

Definately a keeper for your romance shelf!
