Miss Georgiana Marland was abandoned at a boarding school for girls by her mother several years ago. When her mother wrote to tell her that she could no longer pay for her schooling, Georgiana became one of the school's teachers. That is, until she receives a mysterious letter saying that a distant relative is making her, her ward and wished for Georgiana to come and live with her. Now, Georgiana has never heard of this woman and is reluctant to go, but seeing as her life is going nowhere fast, she decides to take a chance on a better life and pray she made the correct decision.

Lord Hugh Ryburn agrees to help his great-aunts ward enter into society by giving her some lessons in etiquette. What he doesn't realize is that she already has considerable grace, beauty and intelligence to make her way in the ton, but can he find a way to protect his heart while she is conquering so many others?

Ms. Bishop brings us a delightful tale of Regency England, full of elegance, history and the romance that makes this time period so popular. Georgiana and Hugh are a wonderful match. Both bring out the best and worst in each other, which leads to a passionate and loving romance.
