As romance's newest author, Robyn DeHart brings us a delightful tale of mystery, adventure and a lot of romance!

A member of the Ladies Amateur Sleuth Society, Lady Amelia Watersfield considers herself somewhat of an expert on the subject of criminal investigation. After all, she has solved all of Sherlock Holmes' cases, some before the end of the story and Sherlock himself knew 'who done it'! Her interest in sleuthing takes on a more adventurous turn when a thief strikes in her own home. How wonderful! Well, not really wonderful, I mean the thief did steal something from her home...but how wonderful that it was her home and no one else's. Now she can solve a real case. How exciting!!

Amelia's father has other plans though. He hires Inspector Colin Brindley to investigate the crime. Although Amelia is slightly put out at first, she comes to realize that this is her golden opportunity to work with a professional investigator. But Colin wants none of Amelia's help. In fact, he tries, to no avail I might add, to keep Amelia out of his way. But when he realizes that she has a way about her that makes people feel at ease and willing to talk and give answers to questions about the crime, he reluctantly let's Amelia help him. What has he gotten himself into?

Colin and Amelia work great together and soon the sparks fly, but not before some adventures and misadventures leading to dead end clues and a threat against Amelia's life. Who is it that is trying to stop the investigation and can they find out before something terrible happens?

For a first book, Ms. DeHart has hit the mark. This story has everything a romance reader is looking for; a hero and heorine to die for, a mystery to solve and tons of hot, steamy romance that will guarantee to keep the reader glued to the pages. This is a fun, fast read that never slows down.

A perfect book for your Spring reading!
