A Most Shocking Revelation is the end of the Texas Cattlemanís Club The Secret Diary series. Iím sorry to see it end but all of the men have now found the love of their lives. This is Gavin OíNealís story. Just how does the local sheriff find the time to find the one for him?

Well, the answer is easy; Valerie is a waitress at the diner that is frequented by Gavin and his friends. Gavin and Valerie have been sparring verbal for months, ever since she showed up in town and began working at the diner.

The sparring matches end up more than just at the diner, when Gavin goes on a call of a disturbance and finds Valerie threatening her would be assailant, her landlord, with a mop. This is just what Gavin needs to get to know Valerie better and hopefully he will find her in his bed as well. Since Valerie only has two options either jail or Gavinís house, she chooses Gavinís.

Now, Valerie on the other hand, doesnít want anything to do with Gavin other than friendship. She knows that once her secret is out that he will not want anything to do with her. She is attracted to him, she tries hard not to show it, but it does come out in unexpected ways to Gavin, with just little gestures here and there.

Can the straight-laced law abiding Gavin, give Valerie a chance once he knows about her past? What about the murders he is trying to solve with the help of his friends? How does Valerie play into those or does she?

Just how does the diary that weíve read a little bit of from each of these stories come into play with Valerie and Gavin? Will anyone know the answer to how the feud started and is Jess really a murderer, did she steal the money? Only reading the story will you find out the answer to these questions and a few more.

Ms. Gold has ended this series in a very satisfying way. We receive closure to many of the unanswered questions from the previous stories. We also get a glimpse of the past heroes and heroines and just what they have been up to and how they are still there for one another, no matter what. When one is in need, they all come out to help. This is no exception to just the men but the women as well. It will take a strength of faith for both Valerie and Gavin to move from the past and into the present and their future.
