Can music seduce you? What type of music is it? How about a sax? How will that affect you? These are just some of the questions that begin the story. Miranda is sitting at poolside in the apartment complex when the sound of a sax reaches her. The song is romantic and soulful. Just who is playing?

Miranda just recently moved into her apartment. It is close to her new job. Miranda is not too outgoing. She keeps to herself as she has been hurt pretty badly before and doesnít want to take the chance on anyone, especially men. It seems she has scars, both physical and emotional, and has learned to hide them very well.

Rick is the sax player, but it is just a hobby to him, something that helps to relax him. He also has some emotional problems and he is dealing with them the best way he knows how. Rickís specialty is in reconstructive surgery for children. That is just one of the ways that he helps with his problem. His weekend starts early, and everyone seems to think he is seeing a woman - if only they knew what was really happening.

Letís just say that first meeting turned into something a lot more than they both bargained for. The next day Rickís new nurse showed up and it was none other than Miranda. Can they work together after what they had experienced? What about Miranda? Can she work with Rick and his patients? Only time will tell.

Miranda and Rick are perfect for each other. They both need something in their lives but neither of them really knows what is missing until it is almost too late. Doctor for Keeps is a story about finding oneself when you didnít know you were looking for anything. Find yourself and try to heal the pain from the past and move forward to a hopefully brighter and better future.
