Dulcy Ferris’ wedding is a week away. So why on earth is she lusting after a handsome man she’s just met at the bar where she’s having her bachelorette party? And worse, why is she seriously considering having a fling with him? And worst of all, why is she having the best sex of her life with him?
Quinn Landis is delighted that the gorgeous woman he’s had his eye on has practically jumped him and begged him for a night of wild delight! He’s a true gentleman and happily obliges, only to find out the next morning, that a) the woman he spent most of the night buried inside is supposed to be married within days, b) her husband-to-be is his best friend, and c) said groom has disappeared!!
Dulcy is devastated to realize that not only did she have a wild night of fantastic sex with a stranger, but he turned out to be the best man in her wedding, which now looks like it’s in trouble because her groom has vanished.
Great confusion and loaded helpings of guilt all around!! Yes, it’s a fun book, full of quirky characters, improbable happenings and gorgeous people getting plenty of fantastically fulfilling sex. Hey – it’s fiction, right? Quinn and Dulcy, as the lead players, are charming – he’s rapidly realizing that Dulcy is a heck of a lot more than a fling, and Dulcy refuses to accept the fact that Quinn is anything else!! Will he change her mind for her? Will they have more great sex or will guilt get in the way? Will the groom ever show up, and if he does, will he have a bride left?
You’ll have to read this book to get the answers to these questions – it’s another perfect vacation novel, undemanding, fun and unabashedly romantic. Goes perfectly with a tall drink and a comfortable chair!!
