A sizzling read that will leave its readers undeniably satisfied.

Bright young Jane Fitzsimmons is happiest working alongside her father at his successful shipping business. She’s ambitious and intelligent but never in her wildest dreams could she have foretold that the life she knew and loved was about to be threatened by the loom of her impending arranged marriage.

Phillip Wessington, Earl of Rosewood, is content living a life of reckless debauchery. Dark memories of his past leave no room for love either in his life or in his broken heart. When his solicitor suggests he marry an heiress to save his nearly bankrupt estate Phillip is left without much of a choice.

After a surprise visit Jane believes that Philip is one of the worst kinds of scoundrels. She issues him a feisty set down on their first official meeting leaving him aghast at her presumption. Sparks fly between the two almost instantly and there is a definite undeniable attraction neither can deny.

I thoroughly enjoyed this page-turner the interaction between Jane and Phillip was incredibly real and entertaining. Jane was not your typical run of the mill heiress and Philip had perfectly valid reasons for being closed off.He exuded an addictive charm that made him impossible to hate no matter what he did.

This romantic tale has all the aspects of a keeper, dazzling romance scorching love scenes and well placed humor. You can be sure it will be on my nightstand a just bit longer than usual or at least until there’s a sequel!
