When businessman Morgan Carmichaelís date cancels right before his big company Christmas ball he is in quite a fix. Enter Brooke Anne Kessler owner of Jovial Janitors who is filling in for her friend who usually cleans Morganís office building. As Morgan agonizes over the prospect of finding another date who can dance well Brooke Anne reveals that she is in fact an expert dancer and she is soon persuaded by Morgan to fill in as his last minute date. Morgan gives her money to buy a formal outfit and agrees to pay her for her time as well.

The evening starts off splendidly and as Morgan and Brooke Anne spend time together Brooke begins to feel like she and Morgan could have a future together past this one evening. But as with all fairy tales happiness is not easily won. When Morganís ex shows up he leaves Brooke at their table to go speak with her. An unscrupulous co- worker gives Brooke even more doubts about their budding relationship and she ends up fleeing the ball and of course leaving her beautiful new pair of designer shoes behind.

Morgan returns to the table and is shocked to find his date has left him. He finds her shoes however and makes it his mission to return them to her and ask for another chance with this woman he canít seem to get out of his head.

Shelley Galloway has created a fascinating tale in Cinderella Christmas. Readers will quickly warm up to the characters of Brooke Anne and Morgan and be anxious to cheer them on as they make their way to their very own happily ever after ending.

I loved the Christmas setting of this tale and the author used the Cinderella theme with great skill. She made what could have been a very predictable tale seem fresh and new with her unique style of story telling. The secondary cast of Brookeís friends and Morganís assistant added many special touches to the story that helped round out the tale and bring this couple together dispite many obsticles.

As we all know Christmas is one of the most hectic times of the year so do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of Cinderella Christmas. It is the perfect book to enjoy in the midst of all the holiday chaos. I will certainly be looking for more books from the talented Shelley Galloway. She shows great promise and will capture her readers with this delightful Christmas tale. Sit back with your favorite beverage and enjoy the special magic of a Cinderella Christmas.
