When a madman decides he wants to storm Hell and tear down the Veil that separates Hell and Earth, Beltaine, half demon, half human moves to protect the Earth from pending disaster. Facing death everyday does not scare Beltaine, but when someone threatens her very existence that pushes her to do whatever it takes to put a stop to the diabolical plan.

Beltaine sets out to find him and recover the book he has before he can enter Hell with his minions. Throw in an angel who happens to be an irresistible man who drives her to distraction named Kalan. Will they find the man they hunt in time? Or is this the beginning of Armageddon?

With The Veil: Angels and Demons, Ms. Aaron has penned an amazing book full of adventure and passion. Kalan, a strong but arrogant male who happens to be an angel finally is able to see Beltaine past her flaws to see she is a woman existing in an imperfect world. Adoring Beltaine is easy. Beltaine has struggled to achieve everything in her life. Her courage and her willingness to stand up for what she believed in endeared her to me. Ms. Aaron has offered us the classic tale of evil versus good, but with a twist where the two factions join forces in a common cause, to stop one man's wanton plan.
