Cathie Linz is a popular category author, who has just released her first single title. The new book entitled Good Girls Do is sure to be added to the keeper shelf of Linzís previous fans while bringing the author to the attention of an entire new set of fans, people who have never read a category romance.

Good Girls Do is the story of Julia Wright, a librarian in the small town of Serenity Falls. Julia likes the structure that comes with being a librarian. She can even cope with the annoying town mayor who is really only trying to help Serenity Falls become one of the best small towns in America, and will go to every length possible to achieve this goal. What Julia can not cope with is spontaneity. Her upbringing was anything but conventional, and now sheís gone one hundred percent in the other direction, and everything in her life has to be regimented.

Luke Maguire grew up in Serenity Falls, and couldnít get out of town fast enough. Heís back now, and his bad boy image hasnít faded at all. Luke has had experiences that have made him the person he is today, but he still hasnít quite tamed the bad boy. Why is he back in town, and will he stay? What effect will he have on the uptight librarian? What effect will she have on him?

Ms. Linz has written a very enjoyable book. As I read and saw that Julia kept making mental notes to herself I couldnít help but wonder how many of them she actually remembered. I have tried this, and never remember a thing. These mental thoughts are sure to bring a smile to every readerís lips.

Serenity Falls is like many small towns, and therefore is a close knit community, with its fair share of unique residents. These residents know that the story belongs to Julia and Luke, but still manage to worm themselves into readers thoughts, and had this reader wondering if any of them would get their own story in future books.
