In Ms. Loganís follow up to A Kiss in the Dark, A Kiss Before Dawn gives us the story of Peter Quick and Lady Emily Knight.

Peter and Emily have known each other for what seems an entire lifetime, and which in fact has been many years; at least for most of their childhood. Peter is one of the orphans that Emilyís brother had saved from the streets and had become the one person to whom Emily could always trust and confide in. Now a respected Bow Street Runner, Peter is on the hunt for a thief who has been preying on the wealthy, which is going to put him in direct contact with Lady Emily, to whom he has secretly loved since their first meeting those many years ago. What Peter doesnít know is that Emily is in trouble and although she once trusted him with her heart, she is reluctant to trust him with her problem, which could leave her in dire trouble or worse yet, dead.

Sparks start to fly from the moment Peter and Emily are reunited till the last page of the story. These two have a sweet, tortured history that every romance story thatís worth its salt, can take a lesson from. History makes for great romance and sexual tension and Ms. Logan gives us plenty of it!!! Every character in this story is believable and very charismatic. The settings are beautiful and the storyline never fails to keep the reader glued to the pages.

A Kiss Before Dawn is sure to be a keeper for your winter reading!
