Marty Stepp is the third Stepp sister and Wanting Something More is her tale. Martyís flaw was that she was very tall and skinny growing up. She has turned her flaws into a very successful modeling career in New York. Although the world finds her spectacular she doesnít see it and finds her life lacking. Marty decides to run away from her successful career and heads home to Millbrook Maine to spend the holiday season with her sisters Abby and Ellie.

Only Marty could decide to head to Maine during a blinding snow storm. As she navigates the treacherous roads in her sports car she begins to wonder if she will arrive safe and sound. She takes a short cut and only realizes her mistake too late. There is a car following her and she has nowhere to turn around. She continues to the jiffy mart where she stops for a break and intends to turn around and get back on the main road.

Marty discovers that the car behind her is none other than the town sheriff Nathaniel Peck her biggest nemesis. Nathanial had been a bully in high school and had greatly embarrasses her after making her believe that he cared for her. Marty figures he hasnít changed a bit and makes a hasty retreat away from him.

The truth is Nate has changed a great deal. Some months ago someone attacked him and almost killed him leaving his past deeds forgotten to him. He has changed since the attack and has become a kind and compassionate person: if he could only get Marty to believe that. Nate has no memory of his past deeds concerning this remarkable woman and canít understand why she seems to detest him so.

In Wanting Something More Kathy Love has created a remarkable story for the last Stepp sister. The gifted Ms Love has taken a bad guy from her previous books and redeemed him in remarkable fashion in Wanting Something More. Nate makes for a remarkable hero and Marty proves to be the perfect match for him. Ms Love also catches readerís up on Abby and Ellieís lives, which is an added bonus to this story. Wanting Something More proves to be a wonderful ending to a delightful trilogy. Readers will definatly be Wanting Something More from this talented new author.
