It seems like Isrie Walker and Deja Douglas have been tight since forever. Over the years, theyíve shared the good times and the bad, most of the bad being the fact that both of them seem to have relationship issues. Isrie writes the book on bad love affairs, and Deja canít seem to love the woman that hides beneath her voluptuous frame.

Then suddenly, Isrie literally collides with Michael, a man whose personality and charm defy description, and Deja opens her heart to a man she previously could only hold in her fantasies. Both women are hoping only one thing; that this time itís for real.

Donít Get It Twisted, the latest novel from Eric Pete is sizzling hot! The mixture of friendship, sex, and the search for true love has never been so seductive. With Donít Get It Twisted, Pete breaks all the rules by creating vivacious characters with lives so compellingly honest and real that readers will begin to examine the validity of their own relationships.

Still, Pete manages to find joy and humor in the truth of friendship despite the crueler moments of life. Few things are as moving as the relationship shared between two true friends. Isrie and Deja are todayís Laverne and Shirley with a little color thrown in, a heaping dose of reality, and a much better script.

Readers, youíll enjoy getting twisted up in the lives of Isrie and Deja.
