The Caribbean, summer 1725

Life as she had known it had deteriorated quickly in a short period for Lady Rosalind Hanshaw. Rosalind was sailing to Jamaica to inform her brother of the tragedy that resulted in their fatherís unexpected death. The family shipping line was in serious financial trouble thanks to marauding pirates. Rosalind's late fatherís partner, the condesending Mr. Murdock, was pressuring Rosalind to marry him in order to salvage the business. Then the unthinkable happened, the infamous French pirate, LíAnge Noir, the Black Angel, attacked Rosalindís ship! How would she ever escape this darkly handsome demonís thrilling embrace?

Capitaine Alexandre de Marchant, the notorious pirate known as the Black Angel, could not get any luckier then taking the prize that had so easily fallen into his hands! The English ship he had just captured not only held a rich haul in goods, but the fiancť of his worst enemy was now his prisoner! What better way to have his revenge against Murdock then by seducing and then ransoming the lovely Rosalind? That was of course if Alexandre could manage to stay clear of Rosalindís sharp tongue! Mon dieu she had the body of a goddess, and face of an angel, but her temper was an equal match to Alexandreís own! Never had he met such a temptress with the courage to stand up to him, Alexandre, pirate king, the Black Angel!

An impressive debut novel by newcomer Elaine LeClaire, Ship of Dreams will take you to the exotic Caribbean and make you feel as if you are living the adventure of Lady Rosalind and her bold pirate captain Alexandre! Some of the French dialogue can get tedious, but work through it you won't be disapointed. Fans of such authors like Jennifer Ashley, Johanna Lindsay, and Shannon Drake who spin the tales of those daring men of the sea will love this book. A super sexy hero is molded into Alexandre, and a brave heroine is designed in the character of Lady Rosalind. Hoist the sails, and come on board, Ship of Dreams is a breathtaking voyage!
