Eve Garrett is a woman on a mission. Following a tearful plea for help from Tiffany Claybourne, eighteen year old daughter of reclusive billionaire Jeremy Claybourne, Eve sets out to find her friend and discover what has driven her to bridge the gap of their estrangement to call for help. Tiffany is known as a spoiled little rich girl who loves a party with a history of falling for wanna-be rock stars and taking them on wild spending sprees. This time Tiffany has not been seen for weeks. This time she may have run a tab she can’t pay.

Before Eve can find her she is attacked by a shadowy threat who means to draw out the torture. She made some dangerous enemies in her Secret Service days years ago but it seems that her old life is coming back to haunt her - and possibly her young friend.

While searching for clues to Tiffany’s whereabouts, Eve encounters the last man she ever expected to see again, Tyler McClain. Tyler was her first. The rat-bastard never called her back after their one unforgettably hot night together when they were young and horny and now the ex-cop turned P.I. expects to horn in on her investigation – not bloody likely.

For Mac his unexpected reunion with Eve is explosive to say the least. There was no way he could forget the luscious Eve Garrett. This new feisty courageous Eve is even more appealing than he remembers, in fact almost too much so. Mac’s not a good long-term bet but for Eve he’s almost willing to give it a chance. When he finds out that Eve has a huge bull’s eye on her back Mac steps in to protect her.

The Bodyguards: To the Limit is the second release in this engaging series from Cindy Gerard. As always the action keeps rolling along, the interaction and dialogue is swift and cutting, and the romance is oh so satisfying to witness. Kudos for Cindy; she’s done it again. A definite keeper!

Have fun!
