The air seemed to crackle with tension whenever Dr. Samantha Riley and time-traveler Duncan Campbell were together. The only thing more heated than their arguments was the one passionate night that they had shared, a night that Sam longed to forget. But, when lightning strikes the time crystals at Jacobís Well and true energy struck between Duncan and Sam, she ends up trapped in ancient Scotland with the irritating and irresistible Duncan, the Scotsman warrior.

Mistaken for the Queen of the Fairies, Sam has claimed Duncan as her consort and had a ball ordering him around, until she learned he was here in ancient Scotland to save a princess, a princess he once loved in another century. But, did Duncan truly love this princess and if he did, then why did he take Sam into his arms nightly, stealing kisses and caresses and making love like there is no tomorrow? The whole tangle made her head and her heart ache. Then Sam realizes that an evil plot threatens to destroy them all and may cause the crystals to fail, leaving them stranded in the past.

I loved this book. It was fun, exciting, suspenseful and full of sexual tension. Samantha is a strong willed woman who knows what she wants, and goes for it, except when it comes to her father, which is explained in the story. Duncan is every womanís dream of what a Highland warrior must have been like. Strong, very sexy and oozing of Ďhe-man-nessí, if thatís even a word! LOL The sparks that these two set off, fairly set the pages on fire. The plot is fast paced and never boring. The secondary characters add volume to the story and do not weigh it down with nonsense that would otherwise be a deterrent to the storyline.

This is a wonderful keeper for your romance collection. A great time-travel!
