Confessions of a Lingerie Addict by Jennifer Ashley is a fast paced fun read. Brenda is a disc jockey in San Diego, and while you might think that having a job where she has to perform in front of people on a daily basis would give her a good sense of self, sheís really very insecure.

For months she dated Larry Bryant, her radio stationís best client. She dated him almost as much because her boss Tony Beale wanted her to as she wanted to. When Larry breaks up with her, Brenda sees that as the beginning of the ending of her world.

What she never expects is to wake up New Yearís Morning with a gorgeous hunk of man naked in her bed, and no memory of how he got there or what they might have done before sleeping it all off. Both are mortified and embarrassed, and the unknown man practically runs out of her bed and apartment before she gets his name, and a way to contact him.

This event leads to another life altering event. Brenda discovers sexy lingerie. Itís because of her secret obsession with lingerie that Brenda again discovers her mystery man. They agree to meet and well, the meeting doesnít go quite according to the way either would have liked. When itís over Brenda still doesnít know her mystery manís name.

She discovers his name by listening to the competition. He is Nick Jordan, and their relationship is about to be conducted live over the airwaves of San Diego radio. If the course of true love were to run smoothly would the station managers be happy? Of course notÖa rougher ride equates to higher ratings and better advertising rates.

Also, if the path to true love ran smoothly the book would end here, and we wouldnít get to see how all the secondary characters lives also play out.

Ms. Ashley wrote a book that had me wanting to see if Brenda would ever figure out who her true self was. Would she get over her relationship with Larry, and not allow the ghosts of that relationship to hurt her chances with Nick? What would happen to her mother, her brother, and will she find out how her roommate Clarissa is able to finance all her adventures and never have a job?

Confessions of a Lingerie Addict was a truly enjoyable read, and had me putting aside the mundane chores of life to keep on reading. I hope that Ms. Ashley continues her writing with another story in the same genre as Confessions of a Lingerie Addict.
