It seems that Diane is having a problem. First, someone broke into her house and now it seems the local police think she might be after the president-elect, Gabe Monihan. It could be all the pictures she has pasted over the bedroom wall that gave them that idea. But Diane is an Army Intelligence Officer and Gabe may be her latest assignment. He is a target and she has to save him from his would-be assassins. The only problem is she doesnít know who is after him.

Diane is also in a secret agency called Oracle. Where a lot of the information she gathers is put into the computer for it to be analyzed. The computer doesnít seem to be working correctly and is now giving her a different scenario then it did just hours ago. She isnít sure what is going on but she must contact Oracle to let them know.

It seems now someone is not only after Gabe but after Diane as well, to stop her from protecting the elected president so him can be sworn into office. From the first meeting with Gabe to the end, the sexual banter is there along with quick comebacks from both of them. This doesnít stop even when there is danger all around them.

Target is full of deceit and several attempts of murder. The secondary characters from the group of computer hackers to some of the Athena graduates come to help out Diane. There are several funny moments that will have you laughing out loud and snickering as well. Even though Diane is in charge of her professional life, her personal life could use some help. She has to come to terms with her past and try to reconcile it with the present. With the help of one sexy president-elect and help by her side she might just save the day and once again take up where the sexual innuendoes left off.
