Diana London is a Direkind werewolf, a species that was created to keep in balance magical forces, and has just begun her Burning Moon, the time of year that her species is in heat, when she meets a marvelous man. Only it turns out that heís not just a man but the King of the Fairies and in her town to help put a stop to a series of murders. Diana knows that there can never be anything lasting between them, but she is more then willing to spend what time she can with Llyr.
Llyr Galatyn dreamt about Diana before he knew she existed so he jumped at the chance to go to her town to conduct an investigation about the murders in her town. His attraction to Diana is instantaneous and consuming, but Llyr refuses to allow his heart to get involved in their relationship after having grown weary of losing those he loves to his brotherís hatred of him. As his feelings for Diana become engaged, he will have to choose between an eternity alone and a brief period of happiness with Diana.
Master of the Moon was a marvelous story that will wrap itself around readerís hearts and make them wholeheartedly hope that Llyr will find the happiness that has so long eluded him. Angela Knight is a spectacular writer who makes her characters come alive and will have readers always begging for more of her work. She has definitely made a fan out of me.
