What do you get when you combine a Latina bounty hunter with clandestine special ops and a surly, machismo ex-lover? You get an action-packed story with steamy sex curling the pages. You also get author Julie Leto’s debut Downtown Press single title, Dirty Little Secrets and she starts this series off with a bang!

From the opening line, “I remember when you used to stroke me like that” you know you are in for a thrill-ride of sensual imagery that has made Ms. Leto a star of the Harlequin Blaze line. Marisela Morales is one hot chiquita who is as comfortable in a back alley as she is on the dance floor. This spicy bounty hunter is on the trail of an ex-con who plans to skip his next court appearance. Her added incentive is to deliver a little payback to the man who broke her heart years ago when he chose a life of crime instead of her. Francisco Vega has no idea that Marisela’s skills now include sharp shooting and hand-to-hand combat. She is eager to show Frankie that she is all woman.

Frankie has other plans for Marisela. Offering her as a possible partner for his next Titan International assignment, Frankie has been keeping tabs on her. Convincing her to take the job will be difficult, but he believes that his persuasive skills are sharp enough. The only real problem is that he doesn’t trust his boss at Titan, and something about this assignment is beginning to smell fishy.

Marisela and Frankie butt heads at every step, but they also know how to turn up the heat. Dirty Little Secrets will keep you glued to your couch, eager to see what happens next. The only downside is that the fast-paced book is over too soon! Since it is an ongoing series, don’t expect all of the questions to be answered, or the relationships to be fully established. The follow up novel, Dirty Little Lies, cannot come to soon for me!
