Elaine Smith, a scientist, went to Bayou Miste to research some problems with their water. An anynomous sample tipped her off that there might be some issues of itís safety for the wildlife and residents. Upon investigating she learns this is true, but while trying to determine the source of the problem, she finds herself in danger. And her only protectorís are a dog and his pet frog.

Craig Thibodeaux must find a woman that will love him. Truly fall in love with him, not who he is. Elaine doesnít fit his image of the woman he wants to love him. He doesnít want to break her heart when he leaves. For he will leave, as soon as he gets his human body back permanently. A dreaded curse cast over him, makes him human only by night. During the day he must reside in a frogís body and eating flies isnít something he plans to make a career of.

A story that sparks images of fairytales to a readerís mind, this was a refreshing twist on an age old plot. There are several funny moments that will entertain and delight. And the book keeps you turning pages. A quick read, this wonít leave your hands fast enough to last days and days.

The characters are thoroughly entertaining and the reader really finds themselves enjoying them. The hero has traits that make him a tad difficult but at the same time loveable. The secondary characters are great, as well. Elle James has penned an excellent romance novel with steamy scenes, a hero that oozes sex appeal, and a heroine that makes you wish you could be in her shoes. This is one romance novel, you wonít be sorry you picked up!
