The title says it all about this book. What would you do in the name of love? Would you do anything and everything to convince someone you love them even if they push you away? Would you give up everything that you know, a part of yourself, to prove your love or to have the love of your life? Most of us will never have to be put to that extreme of a test. If this alone catches your attention and you know nothing else about this book but this, you will not be sorry you picked up All In The Name of Love. Lady Blade has given us one emotional ride from the beginning to the every end.

I know this review is starting off a little different than most that I write or that you will find on the site. But with this story of Adrian and Devon, there really wasn’t another way for me to write it.

We have Adrian, a lawyer who is called “The Ice Queen”. Mainly because she has built a wall around herself and is fierce in a courtroom, not letting others get close to her, the real her, except for her friend and partner, Jessica. Like most of us, there is an actor or actress that we fantasize about, we know we would never meet them, let along act out a fantasy with them. But Adrian does meet her fantasy, Devon Varick, right after seeing his latest movie. The final exchange between the two of them that day, left Adrian guilty about the way she acted. She lost her cool, something she doesn’t do.

Devon is the actor woman fantasize about. He is a loner, but has a best friend Richard, that he has known for twenty years. But Devon is thrown for a loop after meeting Adrian. She doesn’t just fall at his feet. So he apologizes to her by sending her flowers the next day. Adrian in turn surprises Devon with a gift of apology as well. This starts the relation between the two of them.

It seems that Adrian made a bigger impression on Devon that he realized or even she did. You know the saying, you don’t know what you have until you’ve lost it. Devon isn’t sure of what he is feeling towards Adrian and Adrian isn’t sure about her feelings either. But after the accident near the beginning of the story, these two become almost inseparable. The accident is just the beginning of the danger that lurks around those that Adrian and Devon hold near and dear.

If you want a story that will pull at your heartstrings and cheering on the good guys, then pick up a copy of All In The Name of Love. You will not be disappointed.
