Dishing it Out is Marie Simmons story. We first met her in her sister Anna’s story in Pencil Him In. Now, Marie is somewhat settled down, she has her own little bistro and a cooking segment on the local morning program. What can get better than this?

Well, a lot it seems, as Marie has some difficulties with a kitchen appliance and she was outbid on the space she really wanted. Now, they, the network, want her to have a co-host. This does not set well in more ways than one with Marie. The co-host they prefer is none other than her nemesis and neighbor Van MacAllister.

Sparks fly between the two in about everyway from attraction to contract negotiation and even on the air. They have to try to control some of these sparks before it turns to an all out fire, where one of them will need to be rescued.

Dishing It Out is a wonderful story. It will make you hungry for food as well as see and feel the hunger from Marie and Van. Can these two finally compromise on the dish of life? Only time will tell along with some not too good food items and that will have you saying gross and others that will knock your socks off. Dishing It Out is a good evening read that will have you cheering them both on and hoping they find the right ingredients for their life.
