The wedding of the century is being planned, secretly, in the sleepy town of Beaumont, South Carolina. Multimillionaire Max Holt and Jamie Swift will be tying the knot at the picturesque Peach Tree Bed and Breakfast. Owner Annie Fortenberry is beside herself with joy for her friends, and up to her elbows in wedding preparations.

Unusual situations are nothing new for Annie. After all, the B&B has a notorious past, including a stint as the local brothel, and rumors abound that Annie not only inherited the property but also a ghost. Annie has also had to overcome the infidelity and desertion of her husband. Tackling her friendís wedding should be a piece of cake.

Wes Bridges wheels into town on his Harley, saying that he plans to do some local photography for his next book. His real purpose is to discover the whereabouts of Charles Fortenberry, Annieís missing ex-husband. Charlesí mother insists that there is foul play involved in her sonís disappearance. Wes soon finds himself hopelessly entangled in the colorful characters of Beaumont and seriously attracted to the lovely Annie. How will she feel about his true purpose?

Authors Janet Evanovich and Charlotte Hughes have collaborated to make the Jamie Swift/Max Holt series a hit. Packed with eccentric characters, a top-notch mystery, and enough romance to make your toes curl, Full Bloom gives readers plenty to smile about. The writing is crisp, keeping the readers interest as the plot spins along. Visits from recurring characters tie the book to earlier stories so prior exposure to the series is helpful, but not necessary.
