Camille Howard lost her parents at a young age to a brutal murder. Since that time she has had horrible nightmares and has been hounded by the press wanting to get the inside story of this tragic event.

When she meets Griffin in a gallery Camille thinks she has found her true soul mate and that perhaps happiness is a possibility after all. Until that is until her happiness is shattered when a gang of vampires captures Griffin. Camille vows to find her true love whatever the cost.

Camille searches for someone to help her track down this gang of vampires and ends up with mercenary Elijah Sargent. Right from the start the two disagree on almost everything except for the fact that they want the vampires dead. Can these two very different people work together to free Griffin from the vampires clutches before itís too late?

With The Huntress author Crystal Green has penned a very different tale than she has become known for. This is an action packed tale that shows a whole new side of Ms Greenís talents. Despite a rather slow beginning I found this tale to be entertaining and well plotted. The ending was rather an unexpected surprise and Ms Green leaves the door open for this to become a possible series. I hope that Ms Green has plans for similar stories in her writing future as The Huntress proves to be an interesting new path for this talented author.
