The latest of a series of strange vehicle accidents has taken place in Wickfield, Connecticut. It seems the high school principalís car suddenly took off on its own at a great speed allowing the driver no control at all. This isnít the first event of this kind Ė in fact this one makes five in a row.

A group of investigative associates are now trying to piece together the strange pieces of the puzzle leading up to each car takeover. Ben Colter is the member of the team checking into the most recent episode in Connecticut.

Emily Doyle may be the only one computer minded and intelligent enough to help Ben find the technology that was used to produce the virus that took over each car. However she has no idea that she may be the reason this twisted psychopath is killing people by cars to begin with.

It seems her secret admirer was simply testing his invention in the beginning but his last few endeavors have been just for Emily. Ben and Emily will have to pair up to decipher the Trojan virus and put a stop to the creators plan before he takes his final victim.

It is obvious to me that the husband and wife writing team that call themselves Jan Coffey put a great deal of research into their newest novel of suspense. I felt I walked away from the book a little bit more knowledgeable than when I started it. Anyone who is a bit intimidated by computer technology might find themselves a bit bored, as things tend to get very detailed at times. I however was very impressed with how the authors blended the details, the suspense and the romance together in such a way that together it formed a totally grasping storyline.
